I made fresh blueberry muffins the other day and the berries were HUGE. Well knowing how much the chickens like blueberries I had to give them one.
Yes, I know you shouldn’t give muffins to chickens because of the sugar, blah blah blah. But to watch them eat it was worth it. They loved it and couldn’t eat it fast enough.
Well why they were destroying the muffin you can hear Red-shouldered hawks overhead. Speakles heard them too and almost made a barking noise which I had never heard him make when he sensed the danger. He does take care of his girls.
I am also willing to bet a crisp $1 bill that these same hawks are the duck snatchers.
